2. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly and information collected automatically when you use our site.
- Contact information you give us when you call, email, or request a quote — such as your name, phone number, and email address.
- Account and booking information you provide when you sign in and reserve a stay through our customer dashboard, including your name, email, account identifiers, and reservation dates. Sign-in is handled by our authentication provider (Auth0).
- Bird details you enter to arrange care, such as species, size, dietary needs, medications, special requests, and any pairing of bonded birds.
- Messages and inquiries you send us through the site's "ask a question" feature or by email.
- Live camera feed: during a confirmed stay you may access a private in-home camera feed of your bird from your account. The feed is intended for the bird's owner during the boarding period.
- Automatically collected data: when you visit the site we collect standard analytics and log data — including IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and timestamps — using Google Analytics 4 and our hosting infrastructure.
3. Cookies & analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use our site so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes usage data on our behalf. You can control cookies through your browser settings and can opt out of Google Analytics using Google's opt-out browser add-on. Our sign-in feature also uses a secure, essential cookie to keep you logged in to your dashboard.

- To provide bird boarding services and manage your reservations and account.
- To communicate with you about bookings, availability, your bird's stay, and questions you ask.
- To operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website and services.

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to run our business:
- Service providers that operate our site and tools on our behalf — for example our authentication provider (Auth0), Google Analytics, and our website hosting and content-delivery providers.

We keep your information for as long as needed to provide our services, maintain your account and booking history, and meet legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. You may ask us to delete information we are not required to keep.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted connections and secure authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your choices & rights
