Bird Boarding FAQ

Common questions about boarding your bird with PBK & Friends in Tampa, FL.

Which birds do you board?

Small to large parrots: budgies, cockatiels, lovebirds, parrotlets, conures, caiques, Senegals, African greys, cockatoos, macaws, eclectus, amazons, and similar species. If you're unsure whether your bird is a fit, just reach out.

How many birds do you take at once?

Never more than three families at a time. We keep three cages, and a bonded pair shares one, so your birds are never mixed in with anyone else's. This is the heart of what we do, and it's the only way to give each family genuine one-on-one care.

Do you customize the cage?

Yes. We keep three thoughtfully designed cages on hand and set up the one that best fits your bird around their species, size, and preferences.

Can I check on my bird while I'm away?

Absolutely. You can watch your bird live from its cage anytime through our private camera feed.

What about special diets or medication?

We prepare fresh food to your exact diet plan and can administer medication when needed. Just let us know during your consultation.

How do I reserve a stay?

Call or email us to check availability for your dates. Because spots are limited, we recommend reaching out early. See bird boarding prices or reserve a stay, or call 813-352-1883.
